Privacy

Arkady 3D Printing is a small studio in Melbourne. This page explains what we collect when you visit the shop or place an order, why, and who else sees it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, any notes you leave, and the design you made (text, shapes, colours). Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

When you browse: the pages you visit, roughly where you came from (for example an Instagram post, a Google search or one of our ads), the type of device and browser, and what you click in the designer.

Why

To make and deliver your order, to answer you when you write to us, and to understand which parts of the shop work and which confuse people, so we can improve them. We also measure which ads and posts bring visitors, so we spend on what works.

Cookies and analytics

If you accept cookies, we use PostHog to remember your visits across days and to record anonymised sessions (mouse movements, clicks and scrolling) so we can see where the designer is hard to use. Text you type into forms is hidden, and checkout, account and order pages are never recorded.

If you accept cookies and we are running ads on Facebook or Instagram, the Meta Pixel tells Meta when someone who saw an ad visits or buys, so we can measure the ad. Meta's own use of that data is covered by its privacy policy.

If you say no, or don't answer, we only count visits anonymously, without cookies. You can change your answer any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

We also keep a note in your cart of where your visit came from (for example “Instagram”), so we know which campaign led to an order. It stays on this site.

Who else sees it

Only the services that help us run the shop: Stripe (payments), Resend (order emails), Cloudflare (hosting and security), PostHog (analytics, stored in the European Union), Meta (ad measurement, only with your consent) and the courier who delivers your parcel. Some of these store data outside Australia. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires. Analytics data is deleted automatically after it is no longer useful, and in any case within two years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected].

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
